Cereal Box Designs from May 16, 2016 10:00 AM to May 27, 2016 04:00 PM Main library,
The students of Clayton Ridge HS have designed creative cereal boxes using Photoshop. The specially designed boxes will be on display.

The Second Friday Scrabble Group will meet at 1 PM on Friday, May 13. All are welcome.
Funeral Pre-Planning May 12, 2016 from 06:30 PM to 07:30 PM Main library,
Bill Allyn of Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home and Cremation Services will come to the library to speak about pre-need funeral planning. People are discovering that pre-planning a funeral offers emotional and even financial security for them and their families. Mr. Allyn will explain how to make these decisions ahead of time.

This is a fund-raising event sponsored by the Friends of the Guttenberg Public Library Foundation. Stop in at the library during Guttenberg's citywide garage sale weekend and purchase books and baked goods. The money raised will be used for special library projects.

Grant Wood: Prairie Rebel Apr 25, 2016 from 07:00 PM to 08:00 PM Main library,
In this 45-minute, one-man show, Grant Wood chats with the audience as if talking to an old friend across the back yard fence. He tells us about his life and how he changed the art world forever with his work. After the presentation, the audience is encouraged to ask questions of actor Tom Milligan about Grant Wood and his life.
